The Small Business Recovery Loan Fund (SBRLF) was established to support New Mexico small businesses. Administered by the New Mexico Finance Authority (NMFA), this state-funded program provided low-interest loans with flexible terms to help small businesses navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022.

Effective December 2, 2024, the NMFA transferred the servicing of SBRLF loans to Lendistry. Lendistry is here to help support SBRLF borrowers and is committed to providing each borrower with the same level of service. SBRLF loans are not forgivable and must be repaid in full.

What has changed now that Lendistry is servicing my loan?

Loan Payments:
Payments are still due on the date specified in the agreement.
You will continue using the same username and password on the NMFA online payment system at nmfinance.com.

Loan Details:
Your loan number, terms, and conditions for your existing Small Business Recovery loan remain the same. You can continue to make prepayments without penalties or fees.

Can I prepay my loan?

Yes, you may prepay your loan or make extra payments at any time. There are no charges or penalties for prepaying.

When will I get an invoice?

Your Small Business Recovery Loan invoice will be sent the month before your payment is due. Your invoices and activity statements will be sent by Lendistry. If you do not receive your invoice or statement, contact Lendistry at 855-476-5870 between 7:00am – 7:00pm PT (Monday – Friday) or via email at [email protected].

Will my application log-in work for making loan payments?

No, you will need to create a new account in the E-bill Express payment portal at https://www.e-billexpress.com/ebpp/NMFinance/

How do I pay off my loan? What is my payoff amount?

You may pay off your loan at any time with no penalties or charges for pre-payment. To pay off your loan, contact Lendistry at 855-476-5870 between 7:00am – 7:00pm PT (Monday – Friday) or via email at [email protected].

Were the loan funds from a federal recovery program?

No. The Small Business Recovery Loan Fund was created by the state of New Mexico using state funds to help small businesses recover from the pandemic. This program was designed for borrowers to repay their loans. All principal and interest payments will be returned to the state of New Mexico.

How do I make payments on my loan?

Go to the NMFA home page and click “Make a Payment” at the top right. You will need to set up an account if you do not already have one on the e-bill express website. To set up an account, enter your client ID and zip code, plus your banking and login information. Your account will be activated via email.

Where can I find my Client ID number?

Your client ID number can be found on your invoice. It is a six-digit number that starts with 4. If you do not have an invoice or cannot find your client ID number, contact Lendistry at 855-476-5870 between 7:00am – 7:00pm PT (Monday – Friday) or via email at [email protected]. NOTE: Your loan number is NOT your client ID number.

How do I update my contact information?

How does the interest accrue?

Interest on the loan begins to accrue one year after the funding date. For the next two years, you’ll make interest-only payments annually on the anniversary of the funding date. Starting in the third year, both principal and interest payments will be due monthly for the remainder of the loan term. Please refer to your loan documents for details.

Is this loan forgivable?

No. The Small Business Recovery Loan Program was created with the expectation that borrowers would repay their loans. Monthly payments of principal and interest start in year 3, one month after your second interest payment. Example: If your loan closed in June 2021, no interest payments were due in June 2022, your first interest payment was due in June 2023, your second interest payment will be due in June 2024, and monthly principal and interest payments will begin in July 2024.
